  STRABAG RE pruchases Weitblick project

  Strabag Real Estate is taking over the Value One high-rise project, thereby concluding one of the biggest deals of the year. The company was legally advised and represented by Vavrovsky Heine Marth Rechtsanwälte. At the end of December 2024, the final steps were taken to sign the purchase agreement for the 120-meter-high tower at the Stadion U2 station. For STRABAG Real Estate, acquiring the Weitblick project means at the same time playing a key role in the creation of a visionary, sustainable and innovative concept.

  ÖVI Businessbreakfast Linz

  Today we had the pleasure of organising a business breakfast at our office in Linz together with the Austrian Real Estate Association ÖVI. The participants enjoyed the presentation, held by Lisa Haslinger, Partner at VHM, and Anton Holzapfel, Managing Director of ÖVI, as well as a lively exchange on various topics from the real estate sector.

  Maria Grabner, Lukas Lanzerstorfer and Nina Sterzl promoted to partners

  Maria Grabner, Lukas Lanzerstorfer and Nina Sterzl have been promoted to partners at Vavrovsky Heine Marth.

  Maria Grabner, who has been working in the real estate team since 2016, specialises in tenancy law, real estate management as well as the handling of projects in accordance with the Developer Contracts Act.

  Lukas Lanzerstorfer focuses on supporting real estate project development, real estate transactions and asset management. Together with Maria Grabner, he heads the team responsible for Projects in accordance with the Developer Contracts Act. He has been part of VHM's real estate team since 2015.

  Nina Sterzl advises in the dispute resolution team on intellectual property law, media law matters and the enforcement of real estate-related claims. She has been with VHM since 2013 and has been part of the Dispute Resolution team ever since. She will now be head of the Salzburg office, which was previously headed by Dr Karl-Ludwig Vavrovsky.

  Urban development project QUADRILL: Constitutional Court rejects neighbour's complaint

  Partner Lisa Haslinger successfully represented BODNER Group in the proceeedings before the Constitutional Court, in which a neighbour claimed the unconstitutionality of the development plan and building permit for the QUADRILL urban development project in Linz.
  Lisa Haslinger, head of our office in Linz says: "We are very happy for our client that the legality of the project has now also been confirmed by the highest court."

  With the QUADRILL project, the BODNER Group is creating around 18,000 m² of office space, 8,400 m² of residential space and 2,800 m² of retail and restaurant space. The eponymous 109 meter high QUADRILL Tower will be Austria's tallest office and hotel building outside of Vienna. This means a skyline-defining construction project for the city of Linz and a booster for the Upper Austrian economy.

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth Rechtsanwälte opens new office in Linz

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth Rechtsanwälte opens a new location in the city center of Linz, thus setting another milestone in the history of the law firm. At the grand opening on June 14, 2023, Mayor Klaus Luger and other distinguished guests from politics, finance and the real estate industry got together at the new location at Marienstraße 10a.

   

  The new office will be managed by partner and real estate expert Lisa Haslinger: "I am very excited about the new challenge and the opportunity to support clients directly on site in the successful implementation of their projects." Lisa Haslinger, who was born in Linz, is joined on the team by attorney at law Lukas Lanzerstorfer, another long-standing member of VHM's real estate team.

  Austrian Supreme Court upholds judgement in the Salzburg Festival vs. Viagogo case

  Today, the Supreme Court has definitely confirmed the judgement in the Salzburg Festival versus Viagogo case, thus declaring Viagogo´s ticket selling activities (as) illegal.  

  "We are pleased for our client and his guests that the illegal sale of tickets on Viagogo has now also been prohibited by the Supreme Court," says Dieter Heine, partner in charge at Vavrovsky Heine Marth Rechtsanwälte.

   

  Thereby a judgement of the Commercial Court of Vienna was confirmed by the highest court. The trial, which lasted two and a half years, ends in favour of the Salzburg Festival, which was represented by Vavrovsky Heine Marth partner Dieter Heine and his team.

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth promotes Lisa Haslinger to the partnership

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth expands its group of partners for the second time in the last twelve months. New partner and real estate expert Lisa Haslinger will further expand the area of public construction and real estate law with founding partner Christian Marth.

  Lisa, who has already been working in the Real Estate Team since 2015 under the leadership of Christian Marth, is specializing in public economic law and environmental law with a particular focus on construction law, regional planning, law governing industrial plants as well as EIA Law.

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth advises MAMMA Group on the development of the largest hotel project at Vienna Airport

  A new hotel project is coming up: The Viennese real estate developer, the MAMMA Group, is building a new airport hotel with around 510 rooms starting in fall 2023; the opening is planned for spring 2025. The hotel will operate as the “Vienna House Easy”, one of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel chain worldwide.

  Vavrovsky Heine Marth's partner, Christian Marth, and senior associate, Daniel Gebauer, supported the MAMMA Group (represented by CEO/Owner Herbert Pinzolits) especially in contract drafting and negotiations with the hotel operator and the Vienna Airport.

  The “Vienna House Easy” will be the largest hotel at the Vienna Airport and one of the five largest hotels throughout Austria.
