Sophie Vana joined VHM in March 2024 as an associate and mainly supports the Dispute Resolution team of Dieter Heine and Nikolaus Vavrovsky.

Even before joining VHM, Sophie was able to gain relevant experience as an associate in a renowned Austrian law firm in Vienna, where she also worked in the Dispute Resolution/Litigation department. There she was not only able to accompany numerous court proceedings, but also focussed on the area of Collective Redress and contributed to publications such as ‘The transposition of the Collective Redress Directive in Austria: What to Expect’ for CEE Legal Matters.

Sophie graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and gained insight into various industries through numerous internships. Moreover, she participated in the International and European Tax Moot Court in Belgium.
